Terms of service
Version 2026-10-19
These terms govern your hospital's use of Rad-Reader ("we", "the service"). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your hospital.
1. What Rad-Reader is
Rad-Reader provides computer-assisted interpretation of veterinary radiographs, generated by automated AI readers from the images and history you submit. Reports are decision support for licensed veterinarians. They are not a diagnosis, are not produced or reviewed by a board-certified radiologist unless expressly stated, and do not replace the professional judgment of the attending veterinarian, who remains solely responsible for diagnosis, treatment and communication with the client.
2. Your account
Only veterinary professionals and their staff may use the service. You must provide accurate hospital information, keep sign-ins secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. The account owner can add and remove colleagues.
3. What you submit
You confirm you have the right to submit the images and information you upload, and that you will not submit human medical images. Report quality depends on image quality and on the history provided.
4. Fees
Pay as you go: each study submitted for reading costs the price shown at submission (currently US$12.99 per study of up to 6 images), taken by card through Stripe when you submit; there is no subscription. Connected X-ray plan: a monthly fee charged in advance (currently US$499.50, which includes 50 studies), with additional studies at US$9.99 each charged at submission; it renews monthly until cancelled and ends at the end of the paid period. Image hosting: pay-as-you-go images are kept for 30 days and for up to 50 studies, after which images are deleted and reports are kept; connected-plan images are kept while the plan is active. If a study cannot be read, it is refunded automatically. Follow-up re-reads are included within the fair-use limits shown in the service.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change features or prices; price changes never apply to studies already submitted.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the study concerned. We are not liable for clinical decisions made using a report.
7. Data
See the privacy policy. We may use de-identified images, reports and corrections to measure and improve the service.
8. Ending
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse it. Contact us to close an account and request deletion of your data.
